5Loaded with excellent, actionable information
By Jerry Saperstein
I hadn’t realized how fierce the competition for high-grade employees has become, especially in tech areas.

In the opening paragraphs of this book, the authors quickly made me aware that employers have to fight hard for the attention and interest of top-tier candidates.

Thus need for “employer branding”, which I admit to being entirely unfamiliar with the concept.

By the time I finished this book, I was very much aware of what employer branding is and how to create an employer branding program.

The wo authors are obviously very experienced and, more importantly, write clearly and effectively.

For managers in any company seeking the best and brightest talent in a competitive employ, ent environment, this is a must-have, must-read manual.

5Highly recommended for recruiters and HR teams
By johnjhogan
I am not a fan of the series title FOR DUMMIES, yet I find I am drawn to some of the new titles, especially as they are now called LEARNING MADE EASY.

I am in the hospitality field where annual turnover can be as high as 70%. While some of these are entry level jobs and low per hour pay scales, the the competition for quality associates remains very fierce at every level.

In the opening paragraphs of this book, the authors quickly convince readers that employers must fight hard for the attention and interest of top-tier candidates.

The terms “Employment branding” or “Employer branding” may seem new to some, but they really are reinforcing the long term goal of trying to be an EMPLOYER OF FIRST CHOICE. We earn that distinction by exceeding the expectations of candidates by showing that the EMPLOYER cares about them as an individual!

I find this book is as good or better than many others I have seen and it offers practical tools and exercises

Highly recommended for recruiters and HR teams

5Great for all levels of experience!
By Knightbaby
This book a great for people of all levels - people new to the recruitment space or industry veterans. Employment branding is really taking off but still often confusing and misunderstood. This book breaks it down and gives actionable tips that can be started straight away. I really liked the chapter on building a business case and getting senior leadership on board because I think a lot of recruitment teams struggle with this. Pick this up for your team asap!
